Leading chronic health conditions among children in the United States include asthma, food allergies, obesity,
diabetes, epilepsy and oral health.  The percentage of children and adolescents affected by obesity has more than
tripled since the 1970's and diabetes (type 1 or type 2) affects 25% of all people younger than 20 years.
Age brings a higher risk of chronic diseases, such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, arthritis, and cancer, which are the
nation's leading drivers of illness, disability, deaths, and health care costs.  By 2060, the number of US adults aged
​65 or older is expected to climb to about 98 million, or nearly 25% of US residents.
Guided by health, nutrition & exercise science, peer-reviewed research, health psychology
and behavior change theories, our sessions are a collaborative process that address your
​unique biopsychosocial determinants to improve and sustain better health. 

​The American Medical Association (AMA) defines a health coach as a "non-physician health care professional certified by the NBHWC (National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching) or the NCHEC (National Commission for Health Education Credentialing).

Personal Coach
(12) weekly 30-minute virtual sessions for coaching, accountability, goal setting and weekly action plans to consistently practice positive lifestyle habits to prevent disease, better manage chronic conditions, achieve and maintain physical health and well-being goals for a more intentional and healthy lifestyle (i.e., hydration, nutrition, exercise, attitude, stress management, mindfulness, relationships, etc.).  
  • Review any doctor-recommended changes to diet and lifestyle to treat/protect against major health issues identified.
  • Baseline assessment/re-assessments & analysis of general fitness, health and various lifestyle factors to identify challenges, resources and benchmark/measure progress.
  • Nutrition strategy based on needs, imbalances, preferences and health goals with resources that include meal planning guidelines and healthful eating practices.
  • Physical activity strategy with movement/ exercise recommendations based on preferences, fitness level, skill level and ability. 
  • Coaching and counseling for stress management, restful sleep, flourishing, and behavior change. 
  • Messaging touchpoints for education, engagement, motivation and accountability.
  • Weekly checkpoints for reflective feedback and review of health, fitness and lifestyle activities to update action plan and upcoming focus accordingly.
An unlimited number of additional sessions may be added to meet multiple times per week.  ​Program is designed for a 90-day/3-month commitment that may be paid in month-to-month installments.  Program is renewable on a quarterly basis.
​Group Coaching Program
30-day, (6) week or (12) week goal-oriented program that addresses goal setting and a specific health theme to make new lifestyle habits that feel sustainable and remove habits that are not serving you well anymore.  The program is reasonably paced to help you make yourself a priority without added stress and help you create stability through consistent habits. 
​
Participants have the benefit of the guidance of a credentialed health coach, the support of a dedicated community, and the accountability of weekly meetings.
  • Weekly group session to connect and discuss the week's concept.
  • Weekly educational content related to the week's concept/topic.
  • Weekly worksheet, journaling prompt or creative assignment to help integrate the concept information more deeply.
  • Weekly task(s) related to personal goal.
  • Messaging touchpoints for engagement and motivation and community messaging forum to tap into group memebers for added accountability & support.

We understand a person's physical health & well-being is personal and we take that seriously.  Our Wellness APP is HIPAA, PIPEDA &GDPR compliant for data safety, security and regulatory compliance.  We also utilize a Zoom for Healthcare account for live-streaming, online sessions and video chat services.  This version meets the requirements for HIPAA and PIPEDA/PHIPA compliance with complete end-to-end encryption with cloud recording disabled.
