​The American Medical Association (AMA) defines Health &
​Well-being Coaching as a patient-centered approach, whereas the coach is defined as a "non-physician health care professional certified by NCHEC (National Commission for Health Education Credentialing) or NBHWC (National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching).  Work with professionals that are prepared to work alongside other health care professionals & practices.

Personal Wellness Plan or Series
Health Coach/Patient Education Series

Virtual sessions that help individuals create a plan of action/blueprint to implement and maintain positive health habits to better manage/improve their level of physical health and well-being. 
  • Patient education and review any doctor-recommended changes to treat/protect against major health issues identified.​
  • Assessments and analysis of general fitness, health and various lifestyle factors to identify challenges, resources and benchmark/measure progress.
  • Nutrition strategy based on needs, preferences, budget and health goals for successful meal planning and healthful eating practices.
  • Physical activity strategy with movement/ exercise recommendations based on preferences, fitness & skill level, goals, time, space and equipment resources. 
  • Coaching for health & lifestyle behavior changes that include stress management, restful sleep, and flourishing.
  • W​eekly touchpoints for engagement, support, accountability and reflective feedback and review of activities and progress to update strategies, action plan and upcoming focus accordingly.

Workshops

HealthTalks
are workshops delivered onsite or videoconference to address a broad range of health topics or focus on a specific health behavior.   Wellness courses are a series of workshops that create a goal-oriented program to educate, address a specific health theme, coach and support implementing and/or increasing positive health habits that can be sustained.  All workshops and series are led by a certified Health Coach, Health Educator and/or Health-Fitness Specialist.  Health topics and descriptions of each series here.
